Skills:
Three or more years of experience in Unix required (Sun Solaris preferred) in a complex, large volume operation.
Good understanding of TCP/IP and network technologies such as firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, proxies, cache servers, etc.
Proficient with large multi-domain Sun Enterprise systems (i.e. e25K, e15K, e12K, e10K)
Experience with Network Appliance network attached storage experience a plus. Familiarity with NFS, NDMP, NAS, I-SCSI, Snaps and Mirrors helpful.
Experience with VERITAS Netbackup preferred, but other backup software experience helpful.
Strong knowledge of enterprise production environment best practices and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
