Demand Planning:
Generate bottom up forecast using forecasting tools, drive consensus process with regional sales team to arrive at realistic demand plan. Feed in the demand plan with relevant assumptions to Supply Planning & Factories. Deploy the demand plan to depots, by weeks.
Monitor actual sales, orders & log events on weekly basis. Identify exceptions to the Demand & feedback the changes into the Supply Planning. Ensure faster response to the changes in market demand.
Monitor & work towards improvement in Demand Plan accuracy levels.
Order Management & Fulfillment:
Ensure all customer orders are captured, scrutinized & processed within the agreed timelines.
Convert customer orders in order requests, for non forecasted items. Provide detailed supply plans to the supplying factories, closer to demand.
Ensure reconciliation of backorders & feedback to customers on delivery scheduled.
Ensure high level of customer service with On Time In Full deliveries.
Take periodic feedback from key customers, work towards high customer satisfaction and finally customer delight.
